| Description | The overview of incosistent and not uniform explanatory methods of the structures of the specified types of toponyms is presented. An appelative is not always available. With regard to comparative studies and the concept of the Slavonic Onomastic Atlas, a uniform viewpoint is needed: the names have they origin in adjective attributes (e.g. lipná voda > Lipnice) which were converted to substantive nouns. |
