| Description | The work of František Pospíšil (1885 - 1958) in the field of ethnochoreology is equally uncommom and unique in local context. His interest in sword dances dates back to the first decade of the 20th century. At the beginning of the 1920 he started to make filed film recordings. These activities opened him a journey to research of sword dances in the international context (Great Britain, Croatia, Spain, USA). |
