• Description: Anti-basement membrane zone antibody are detectable in a low percentage of elderly subjects without clinical signs of bullous pemphigoid. The authors studied their presence in elderly subjects with pruritic diseases and diabetes mellitus and controls with indirect imunofluorcens and ELISA.
