| Description | The otolith associations (57 taxa) reflect tropical to subtropical nearshore marine faunas quantitatively dominated by gobiids, with most affinities to present-day Atlantic and Mediterranean forms, but the number of Indo-Pacific taxa (6) is also relatively high. One species, Lethrinus styriacus, is new. |
