| Description | The book deals with electoral systems. The typologies of electoral systems is discussed, as is the development of electoral systems research, the quantitative research and electoral engineering. Next four chapters deal with particular ES families (majoritarian, PR, semi-PR and mixed), discussing the mechanics and effects of various electoral systems. The development of electoral law in the Czech countries is further discussed and enclopedical review of the ES around the world presented. |
