| Description | This article analyses the case-law of the European Court for Human Rights related to Art. 3 of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms and the role of findings of the Committee for the Prevention of Torture in the decision-making of this Court and the Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic and discusses the potential of the same treatment of findings of the ombudsman, based on her visits to detention facilities with the aim of protecting the detainees from all forms of ill-treatment. |
