Description Decision making is one of the most important aspects in dealing with crisis situation (natural disasters, traffic and industrial accidents etc.). Communication between all emergency troops must be prompt and efficient. For this reason, it is important to have a tool for any cooperation between the troops, which would allow sharing spatial information in real time: it is necessary to choose the best strategy to solve crisis situation, in the shortest possible time. The paper describes the use of geocollaboration during a field experiment that took place in November 2008 as a part of the research project Dynamic Geovisualisation in crisis management, solved at the Faculty of Sciences at the Masaryk University in Brno. Basic principles have been established as results of the experiment. These principles could be an initial framework for further research of geocollaboration.
