| Description | Surgical treatment of idiopathic scoliosis does not cause significant changes in sagittal plane. Conversely, surgical treatment of neuromuscular scoliotic curves lead to significant change of lumbar lordosis and sagittal tilt angle in correlation with generally favorable clinical impact of surgery on sagittal stability of spine. Therefore these parameters can be interpreted as valuable objective indicator suitable for assesment of surgical treatment impact on sagittal profile of a spine ant its further progression. |
