| Description | Presently, it is a much discussed subject matter whether the World community development (with its activities) is in accordance with the principles of sustainable growth. One of the instruments that help follow this aim - sustainable growth, in practice is the Local Agenda 21. It is a strategy and action plan of certain municipality. Local Agenda 21 is based on the Agenda 21 document validated in 1992. Taking into account that Local Agenda 21 is included in the so called quality management instruments for public administration organizations and its implementation is appreciated by the Department of Home Affairs Awards for quality and innovation in public administration. This article includes partial results of the Awards for quality and innovation analysis with main focus on the Award for Local Agenda 21 according to the Czech administrative-territorial division. |
