• Description: Isolation and detection of mRNA is nowadays a very discussed topic because mRNA is very important in gene expression studies. New technologies based on paramagnetic particles coupled with electrochemical detection provide a unique system for monitoring of bulk and also specific mRNAs. mRNA of plants exposed to heavy metal ions was studied in this work. Increased level of mRNA unambiguously display enormous increase of metabolic activity of the plant for overcoming stress reaction.
