| Description | The main objective of the article is an analysis of demographic development of the Kuřim town and computation of the population projection till 2052. The population prognosis (component method) includes expected development of both natural population dynamics and migration. Four variants of prognosis were compiled, differing in expected migration scenario. The scenarios of migration were elaborated in cooperation with the town council and a town planner office, and were based on expected extend of housing construction in the town. The Kuřim town is a major centre of suburban migration within the Brno agglomeration. |
