Description | The priority of this study was a development of geoinformatic procedures, taht makes work with air dispersion model easier and faster. A gaussian model SYMOS 97 was used for the area of the city Valašské Meziříčí with high number of sources and receptors. The outcomes of the model are compared with concentrations measured with passive air samplers on four localities. Agreement between modeled and measured data was not achieved, however the outputs of the work illustrate the time and spatial variability of ratios of amounts of pollution from various sources to total pollution with PAHs. Possible reasons of discrepancies are also offered, mainly presence of sources that can not be involved by the emission inventory. |
