Description Zoned, leucotonalitic pegmatit with unusual mineral composition cuted serpentinized lherzolite at Ruda nad Moravou (Staré Město unit). Besides plagioclase with An98-An20 composition, amazonitic K-feldspar and quartz it contains almost pure grossularite, diopside, primary epidote, accesory zircon, titanite, NbTa oxides and many secondary phases. High Ca/Na ratio and low H2O and F containing minerals are exceptional. The origin of pegmatite melt as well as source of Ca remains unexplained. It is unclear whether the high Ca content already present in the primary melt, which would imply ultrabazic to basic protolite from which the melt was derived melt or there occured intense Ca contamination during the migration of pegmatite melt.
