Description The Moravian Mission of Bishop Wolfger of Erla: The article deals with the journey of Wolfger, Bishop of Passau, to Austria at the turn of 1203 and 1204, during which the bishop negotiated with Vladislav Henry, Margrave of Moravia, and Premysl Ottokar I., King of Bohemia. Numerous hints suggest that a potential return of the king of Bohemia and his joint ruler, the margrave of Moravia, to the Hohenstaufen party was discussed in Moravia in the last weeks of 1203.
