Description | An efficient spatial computational scheme designed for the convolution with a bank of 3D Gabor filters is presented. It allows for a convolution of arbitrarily-oriented anisotropic Gabor filter. It is nearly optimally efficient with improved accuracy and position invariance. The formal derivation and justification of new approach as well as experimental results are presented. |
