| Description | Thanks to controversy surrounding the use of the Internet by Heavens Gate is the Internet presented as an effective new tool for recruiting more potential victims of abuse and violence. But the question is: Is it possible to say about on-line interaction without some pre-existing or created off-line interaction? The second concern for the study of religion on cyberspace is religious conflict and authority. The third and rather crucially problem is connected with question whether religious experience can be induced by or conveyed through the Internet. |
