Description This is the first article that describes in detail the bird remains from the Gravettian mega-site Pavlov I. More than 1000 bones represent 19 taxa, most numerous of which are Tetrao tetrix, Lagopus lagopus and L. muta, and Corvus corax. Most birds were hunted by people in the vicinity of the site.
