Description There is more than 800 pools in the forest Řídká blana near Zahájí. These pools arise after end of mining, in 45 of which interesting diversity of water macrophyts (65 species of vascular plants and 2 species of charophytes) and remarkable plant communities were found. Vegetation was documented by 30 relevées. The most important species of this locality are Utricularia bremii, which was found in 34 pools, and Sparganium natans (in 23 pools). History of findings of Utricularia bremii in the Czech Repubic is discussed. Comments on classification of some communities are added.
