| Description | The Papal nuncio at the Imperial Court in Prague Antonio Caetani obtained information from various sources, one of which was also Franciscan order. In 1609 several Franciscans were sent on a secret mission in order to check doubts connected with the Bishop of Bamberg, John Phillip von Gebsatel, who was suspected of sympathies with Protestantism. |
