Description | Classical literature, just like crime fiction, often describes crimes committed out of love or passion. Despite the fact that crime fiction has been trying to discard its label of a paraliterary genre ever since the 1980s, with the themes of love and eroticism it still presents a number of stereotypical clichés. This paper aims to demonstrate their characteristic features and the ways in which French crime novels deal with these clichés. |
