| Description | The industrial heritage is represented not only by a number of individual buildings and other construction, but also by various land forms, water bodies, road, rails etc. Their territorial concentrations form areas of a post-industrial landscape. Their future is not clear and school geographers can contribute to correct decision making. They are able to provide the object/area inventory, its value assessment, using geographic knowledge suggest ideas about its better fate. At the same time, geography teachers can promote some kind of safe adventure during the research of this kind of historical and natural heritage to their pupils and students. |
