Description Implant surface influences to some extent the behaviour of cells which colonise it. Differences of cell reactions to variously processed surfaces were studied in titanium alloys that were used as implants. This phenomen expressed with surface cell morphology was evaluated by means of electron microscope and proved that interaction between material and cells,as well as among cells, depends on surface structure. Polished materials disable the ability of cells to grow. Granular material is more suitable for adhesion and spreading as well as for cauterisation by mixture of HCl and HNO3.
