Description | Text is analysing to what extent Slovakia is, twenty years after the change of the regime, inclusive country that activelly fosters diversity. Author states that public sphere is heavily ethnicized and country is non-inclusive due to structural reasons. They are rooted in ways how modern Slovak nation has been created. Author offers analysis on why integration of autochtonous and new minorieties cannot be secured by using concept of Jeffrey Alexander on dichotomy of core and out groups. Author brings also suggestions of particular policy arrangements that can increase chances of Slovakia to become an inclusive society in the future. |
