Description | The study was aimed at determining the frequency of sensitisation to 29 selected adjuvant substances (preservatives, antioxidants and emulsifiers) of pharmaceutical and cosmetic preparations. The cohort consisted of 687 men (average age 44,5) and 1531 women (average age 44,3) examined during the years 2001-2007. No statistically significant difference was found between the men and women cohorts when comparing the percentage ratios of sensitisation to adjuvants. |
