• Description: The publication is explained in detail the issue of Integrated waste management systems (ISNO) at the regional level. Following the introduction of the terminology and a summary of the current state of waste management in the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Austria and Slovak ISNO describes the design of effective tools and support (informational, organizational, administrative, legislative, technological, voluntary) to support its implementation of waste prevention and reduction specific waste production per capita regardless of the level of economic growth. ISNO pays attention to the issues at the regional level, focusing on six selected waste streams: municipal waste, waste produced in the sphere of small trades and services (business management), biodegradable waste (BRO), car wrecks, waste from used electrical (electro) and waste packaging and packaging materials. The example case study district Šumperk ISNO an application at the regional level, and management of BRO in Tišnov.
