Maple as an Instrument for Connection School and Practice

• Description: There are discussed common aspects of assigning the topics of bachelor /diploma theses in the first part of the paper, when it is necessary to deal with problems determined by practice and to use appropriate tools of information and communication technologies. Furthermore, there are presented concrete examples of the usage of the system Maple in elaborating bachelor/diploma theses at the Faculty of Business and Management, Brno University of Technology, and mentioned the current version of system Maple 12.
