| Description | The study is retrospective analysis of direct costs and length of stay (LOS) in 734 patients hospitalized with acute heart failure. The mean LOS was 8.3 days and mean in-patient cost was 95542 CZK (including all interventions). In-hospital cost of AHF de-novo (58.6% patients) was significantly higher than acute decompensation of AHF (100986 CZK vs. 87842 CZK; p<0.001). Mortality during hospitalization was 14.6%. |
