| Description | This contribution is focused on adolescent's view of a situation when his/her romantic partner is taking part in adolescent's family life or family activities. That is a phenomenon connected to the changes in a family life in the contemporary euroamerican society. Not much research has been done about that topic. This thesis contains a descriptive explorative research with two methods - focus groups with grammar school students (18 years old) and semistructured intereviews with adolescents (17-21 years) who live in the focused situation. I examined percieved characteristics of the situation, motives for that situation and percieved disadvantages of the situation. The results show that adolescents speak about the motives that are connected to their relationship with parents and to the romantic relationship (long-term vs. short-term). I found motives connected to the homeostasis of the system and pragmatic motives. Homeostatic and pragmatic motives associate the phenomenon "mamahotel" . |
