| Description | In the days of 25 – 31 May 2009, four students under guidence of Mgr. M. Novotný carried out the field research in Němčicko microregion (Hana Valley, central Moravia). The research was focused on earth-building techniques used for the construction of walls in selected localities. During the stay in the terrain some interesting facts were found. The facilities that have survived up to the present day were measured and documented. The research reports have been archived in the Institute of European Ethnology at the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University, Brno. The Institute for the Preservation of Historical Monument in Brno – branch for the preservation of selected monuments of vernacular architecture, will be informed about several documented houses in the near future. The findings of the field research have been studied comparatively these days and would be published in the following months. |
