| Description | Atrial fibrillation is the most common sustained arrhythmia. It is associated with increased morbidity and mortality and decreased quality of life. Angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors and angiotensin receptor blockers reduce morbidity and mortality in patients with heart failure, vascular disease and hypertension. |
