Description | Ampullary cancer is one of the periampullary tumours with better prognosis, but relapses occur early in some patients. This study was carried out to assess whether pancreatoduodenectomy (PDE, Whipple operation) could be a safe therapeutic procedure for elderly patients with periampullary tumours. |
