Description | Variability of protoplasmatic face plasma membrane HL-60 cells was studied by freeze-etching method. Cell suspension was affected by culture manipulation including use of a centrifuge (900 rpm, 6min). Samples were chemically fixed at times 0, 30, 60 and 120 minutes. The aim was to quantitatively describe differences in the number of proteins on the plasma membrane cells in the sample and among samples. The cell culture significantly reacted to the manipulation. Repair response was most apparent 30 minutes after the beginning of cell manipulation and represented by statistically significant reduction of membrane proteins number per area unit. |
