| Description | Creation of local geographical textbook and atlas is one of the key activities of the approved project within a global grant OP Education for Competitiveness (Sustainable development as a part of school education programme in ZŠ Deblín) and is one of the many activities undertaken under partnership among the primary school Deblín, Institute of Geography at Faculty of Science in Masaryk University in Brno, township Deblín and Municipal Authority Tišnov and also public participation. Creation of textbook and atlas addresses the needs of local demand accented by the Department of Environment in the Municipality of Tišnov town that supports initiatives to achieve sustainable development concepts in its administrative district. Part of the textbook will be an innovative methodology leading to sustainability teaching, easily transferable to other institutions. We perceive intense participation of local communities in the textbook/atlas preparation as one of the most important advantage. |
