Description The purpose of this article is to analyse changes in capital market regulation in accordance with the economic crisis, i.e. to describe and evaluate current state of affairs in the Czech Republic. Capital market as well as money market creates important part of financial market, which is now days because of worldwide economic crisis in the centre of everyones interests. This paper is focused particularly on the Czech National Bank crisis recommendations. The Czech National Bank as a public entity entitled to execute united supervision on financial markets in the Czech Republic suggested several anti-crisis measures, i.e. support of liquidity, intensive monitoring and essential conditions of faultless functioning of the capital market, i.e. strong and independent central bank, unification of supervision over the financial market in EFTA. The paper will examine if these measures and conditions are in compliance with changes in capital market regulations.
