| Description | The case study deals with an application of the cleaner production method in the galvanization industry and its influence on employment, quality of work environment and qualification of employees. Firstly the current situation in the galvanization industry in the Czech republic and its characteristics are described. In an example of a galvanization company the impact of cleaner production measures is shown in the economic, environmental and social area. The case study shows that the impact on employment was in this example neutral, however the measures have a potential to retain recent employment in the company. The most important impact of cleaner production measures is an improvement of the working environment especially regarding heat, noise and lighting conditions. The study concludes with possible future applications of the cleaner production in the field of a galvanization industry in the Czech republic |
