| Description | The Moving Image exhibition introduces a part of the Brno-based art scene in the Futura Gallery, Prague. There are both a shared institutional background (all the artists exhibited studied at the Brno Faculty of Fine Arts) and joint participation at the exhibition projects or collective efforts (Fiume collective, Anymade group) that bring these artists together. But also less substantial relations of mutual inspirations, shared outcomes or visual language are important here. The exhibition (among other things) focuses on the various forms of collaboration between the exhibiting artists, be it represented by artworks already existing or those that were made for the occasion of the exhibition. In this sense the exhibition represents a curatorial outcome of the research grant GAČR Art as collaboration. |
