• Description: Peat bogs and mires represents wetland habitats, which occur only sporadically and because of suitable climatic conditions usually in higher elevations in the Czech republic. Because of specific and often very extreme conditions are usually inhabited by aquatic insects, for whose occurrence the presence of pools or wet Sphagnum mosses is necessary.
