Description The education of pupils with special educational needs, we focus on the group of socially disadvantaged pupils, which includes students from family backgrounds with low socio cultural position, risk students socially pathological phenomena (the Education Act No. 561 2004 Coll.). Preschool preparation has the great importance for the further educational career of the individual. Preparatory classes of primary school are one of the outcomes of current changes in the national education, which had given to the Roma community to the fore primarily to prepare Roma children for entry into primary school. The chapter presents the results of the research realized in the 2000 2008 period of preparatory classes in primary schools in the Czech Republic.
