Description | The article is divided in to the three parts. The first part shows which tricks occur in acquiring citizenship. There cannot be mentioned a full list of practises since the human inventiveness in deceive is endless. That is why this matter is approached from the practical point of view. The second part is an overview about the latest discussion in Germany and partly also in the Czech Republic which is related to the question, whether or not it is in conformity with the constitution to cancel the naturalization acquired on the basis of tricky practise. The final part focuses on the recent judgement of the European court of justice in the case of Rottmann vs. Germany (State of Bavaria). In this case the question to what extent the tricky acquired nationality can be cancelled has been solved with regard to the institution of European citizenship. |
