| Description | The present paper reflects on works of selected personalities from Czech poetry published between the years 1989-2009. The decisive criterion for including these authors in this paper was the condition that they rank among the so-called two-line poets, i.e. poets writing for both children and adults, and that their two-line production is relevant also in their works published after 1989. The order in which they appear in the present paper takes into consideration the generational point of view (the first part of the paper analyses works of authors of the older generation: Karel Šiktanc, Ivan Diviš, Ivan Martin Jirous a Pavel Šrut), without emphasizing whether intencionality is connected to the main part of their work or whether it appears only episodically. Through a paralel outline of the works for both adult and child recipients, we are trying to point at the existing common features which unite the two poetic worlds. |
