| Description | Keloid scars exist only in humans. They expand beyond the skin damage. Until now, the etiology of keloid scars is not exactly known, but many cause have become explained step by step. The therapeutical effect is influenced not only by the extent of the scar, but also by its duration, localization and last but not lest by patients age. |
