| Description | From the beginning of the 90th years of the 20th century a pressure from the side of stakeholders, owners of accommodation facilities, ski resort operators and sometimes also from local governments is put on increasing level of services and infrastructure aimed at tourism in the Krkonošský National park. This paper deals with description of current level of tourism infrastructure main elements (e.g. transportation, accommodation and housing, sport possibilities) and its trends. There is also description of several big investment projects in the Krkonoše area in this paper. These investment projects have important impacts, positive and also negative, which are directly connected to the field of tourism. These impacts on natural environment or development of mountain municipalities are described in the paper. |
