Description | The aim of this retrospective study was an analysis of the succes rate of diagnostis and therapeutic endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) in a group of patients with pancreatobiliary malignance and other pancreatobiliary diseases. This study took thirteen yers. results: Endoscopic treatment was undertaken in all 97 patients immediately after diasgnostic ERCP. Endoscopic papillotomy was always performed as an initial step with the use of special papillotomes. Overall, therapeutic ERCP was absolutely successful in 83 of the 97 patients (85,6%) who were originally treated with endoscopy. |
