Description | Successful companies are interested in achieving their business policy and goals, ideally, with minimal financial expenses. Process Management approach is an effective way to meet the target. There are two companies that are focused on the field of process standardization: Object Management Group and Workflow Management Coalition, each of them from a different point of view. For solving complex issues it is effective to combine both approaches. That is the reason why this paper shows a novel Workflow reference model for emergency management which has to describe precisely the process deployment in the area of emergency management taking into account its process oriented methodology and complex architecture. The created model is demonstrated from the theoretical and practical point of view on a case study which describes a typical activity called "Finding an object that is suspicious to contain B-agents and toxins". |
