Description | Raw material spectrum of polished artefacts is rather wide (Culmian siltstones, diorites, porphyric microdiorites, serpentinites, amphibolites). Their transport is supposed along the eastern margin of the Bohemian Massif. Chipped artefacts are made especially of erratic silicites from glacial sediments of northern Moravia and Silesia (86 %). Silicites of Moravian origin (chert of the Krumlovský les type, Cretaceous spongolites, chert of the Olomučany type)are represented only sporadically. |
