| Description | The paper (contribution) maps selected changes in development of higher educational system in the Czech Republic which are projected into offering counselling services at universities (specific into career guidance). Namely, the increase in number of university students and a transformation of their needs in relation to the offer of counseling services will be mentioned. Whereas the increase in number of university students is illustrated with the database of statistical data from the whole Czech Republic during the last ten years, variability of needs of students is described in research at Masaryk University. I offer a proposal of outline innovation in providing counselling services at universities (with accent career guidance) in the Czech Republic, based on changes, mentioned above. I will also take into consideration current trends in the development of counseling services in Europe. |
