| Description | The result of our study is the check-list of 95 aquatic or semi-aquatic oligochaete species of 43 genera for the Czech Republic. Species were sorted into three categories of frequency of occurrence and the Red List of endangered species was updated. It now includes 9 endangered species (EN), 14 vulnerable (VU) and one near threatened (NT) species. Protection of these species should be realized through the protection and conservation of unique habitats from which these endangered and vulnerable species have been reported. |
