| Description | The chapter analyses geomorphological evolution of Babí lom mountains in the period from Devon till present. It deals with the sedimentation of quartz gravel forming present-day conglomerates, selective weathering in Kenozioc period, neotectonical uplifting of the Babí lom horst. I solves the evolution in pleistocen period, especially frost fracturing and creation of solifluction streams of great boulders. Part of the chapter si dedicated to presentation of long-section profile of the Babí lom crest, that was measured for the first time. |
