Description | The development in the area of digital data processing circuits for electronic signals enables us to use them for handling output pulses from particle and proton sensors. This paper shows the results of digital processing of output pulses from combined photon- neutron detector using a commercially available digitizer ACQUIRIS DP 210. The advantage of digital processing is reduction in weight and volume of the apparatus, acceleration of measurement, and increased resistance to pile-up of pulses. The sensor can be used for non- destructive diagnosis of unexploded ammunition, for detection of radiation sources in security frames, for monitoring in radiation protection, etc. |
