| Description | The aim of this paper is to find regions or cities of the EU-15, which show the comparable socio-economic characteristics especially in the labour market with the South Moravian Region or the city of Brno. Significant attention is paid to the method of selection the comparable regions and then the cities of old member countries of the European Union. The final chapter describes the experience, trends and current situation in the labor market in the city of Graz, which was chosen based on the analysis as one of the "most similar" cities to the city of Brno. The main information sources of this chapter were semi-structured interviews with representatives of the city and regional (provincial) government and labour office. |
